Kafka in the Castle
In the context of a commemoration of the great writer and his writings, I participated in a collective exhibition whose only indication was: to create two pages of comics with the theme of Kafka and his narrative world.

Those guys immediately decided to give in to the impulse and build their own cockroaches with wood, clay and wire. A patient and a psychotherapist. So automatically this is what the title suggested to me: SCARAFREUD (SCARAfaggio, in Italian, means cockroach and officially FREUD is Freud...)

I then completed the work by making fun of the story, reversing its meaning: The patient tells of a terrible nightmare in which he is unable to hide his horrendous and unwatchable nature from the eyes of people, and then wakes up. and in the last two cartoons we see who he really is...
also for the lettering I used a font I created for the Italian version of a Batman comic, a font you can find here: PSYCHOPATH NOTE
